Crispy Teriyaki Tofu
This teriyaki tofu recipe is modified from Clean & Delicious.
Ingredients
- Crispy Tofu
Extra firm tofu
1 tbsp low-sodium tamari (or soy sauce)
1 tbsp avocado oil
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cornstarch (or arrowroot)
- Sauce
2 tbsps. Teriyaki Sauce
Sriracha to taste
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 F
- Squeeze out the water from the tofu.
- Cut extra firm tofu into squares and press until dry
- Mix the marinade (tamari, avocado oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder) together and then add the tofu. Gently stir so tofu is covered.
- Add the cornstarch and again stir until covered.
- Line a baking sheet and place tofu even spaced.
- Bake tofu for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Sauce
- Mix the teriyaki sauce and sriracha (to taste)
- Add the crispy tofu and coat
- Eat with rice/quinoa and broccoli or other veggies!
